ขอแสดงความยินดีกับอาจารย์วิไลเลิศ คำตัน อาจารย์ภาควิชาการพยาบาลพื้นฐานและบริหารการพยาบาล ได้รับรางวัลระดับนานาชาติ Best Application of a Quality Improvement Tool จากงานวิจัยเรื่อง Assessment of Times for Door to CT Performed and Door to CT Read for Stroke Patients ในงาน 2011 Nurses' Day of Inquiry: The Changing Landscape of Nursing Education, Clinical Practice and Health Policy เมื่อวันที่ 21 ตุลาคม 2554 ณ โรงพยาบาล St. Peter's มลรัฐนิวยอร์ค ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนของนักศึกษาจากประเทศไทยที่ได้รับรางวัลในครั้งนี้
และ ในวันที่ 15 ธันวาคม 2554 อาจารย์วิไลเลิศ คำตัน ได้ รับทุน Broughton Award Research Fellow in Creative Applied Science for the 2011-2012 จำนวน 800 USD จากงานวิจัยเรื่อง A comparative analysis of the profile of ischemic stroke patients between a hospital in Upstate New York and Bangkok, Thailand โดยมี Dr. Glenda B. Kelman และ Dr. Kathleen A. Kelly เป็นอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา ซึ่ง อาจารย์วิไลเลิศ ได้รับทุนจากผลงานที่ได้รับคัดเลือกเป็นผลงานดีเด่น 1 ใน 4 ของรางวัล ที่มอบให้นักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาในปีการศึกษานี้ The Broughton Graduate Fellowship เป็น รางวัลสำหรับผลงานทางวิชาการดีเด่นของนักศึกษาปริญญาโทและปริญญาเอก ซึ่งเป็นเป็นครั้งแรกที่นักศึกษาปริญญาโทได้รับรางวัลนี้และเป็นรางวัลที่ สูงที่สุดทางวิชาการสำหรับบัณฑิตศึกษา จาก The Sage Colleges โดยจะมีการมอบรางวัลอย่างเป็นทางการในงาน The Sage Graduate Schools Research Symposium วันที่ 28 เมษายน 2555 และในวันเดียวกันผู้ที่ได้รับรางวัลจะนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยภายใต้การนำเสนอชื่อ "Broughton Lecture" ซึ่งในงานนี้ อาจารย์วิไลเลิศ จะได้รับสายสะพายเกียรติยศสีฟ้า (Blue Cord) เพื่อแสดงถึงการเป็น Broughton Fellow
Congratulations to Miss Vilailert Komton, a nursing instructor from Fundamental of Nursing and Nursing Administration, The Thai Red Cross College of Nursing for the outstanding international accomplishment.
Ms. Vilailert Komton received the award “Best Application of a Quality Improvement Tool” for her research project “Assessment of Times for Door to CT Performed and Door to CT Read for Stroke Patients” in 2011 Nurses' Day of Inquiry: The Changing Landscape of Nursing Education, Clinical Practice and Health Policy Conference on October 21st, 2011 under the supervision of Dr. Glenda B. Kelman, Dr. Kathleen A. Kelly and Mrs. Elizabeth Whitbeck. She was the representative from Thailand who won this award on behalf of the Thai graduate student at St. Peter’s Hospital, New York, USA.
In addition, she has been selected to be a “Broughton Fellow” in Creative Applied Science for the 2011-2012 academic year from her thesis project “A comparative analysis of the profile of ischemic stroke patients between a hospital in Upstate New York and Bangkok, Thailand” under the supervision of Dr. Glenda B. Kelman and Dr. Kathleen A. Kelly on December 15th, 2011. Her project was among the top four applications received across the Graduate Schools of Education, Health Sciences, and Management at the Sage Colleges, New York, USA. The Broughton Graduate Fellowship is the highest scholarly distinction available to graduate students at The Sage Colleges. In recognition of this award, she will be receiving $800 and a blue cord as a Broughton Fellow. She will also present the results of her research in the Sage Graduate Schools Research Symposium on April 28th, 2012.
